AIDS Council of Northeastern New York - Albany - www.aidscouncil.org - The AIDS Council provides comprehensive support services to more than 600 persons living with HIV/AIDS and more than 500 family members each year. We provide direct financial, food, housing, counseling, and transportation assistance to improve stability in client lives.
Albany Housing Coalition, Inc. - Albany - www.ahcvets.org - The Albany Housing Coalition's Veterans Housing and Services Program provides housing, supportive services, employment services, and access to veterans courts for area homeless veterans. Peer support for all returning veterans is offered to prevent the downward spiral to homelessness.

CARES Inc. - Albany - caresny.org - CARES, located in Albany NY, has fought to end homelessness for over 20 years. CARES' provides supportive housing for persons living with HIV/AIDS, coordinates the Capital Region AIDSWalk on behalf of the community, and provides technical assistance and consulting services to state and local governments and not-for-profit agencies providing housing and/or support services to individuals and families who are homeless and at risk of homelessness.

Capital Area Peer Services - Albany - (518)427-5056 or (518)434-1178 - A nine bed housing facility which provides housing to homeless individuals who are also diagnosed with an axis I mental illness.

Catholic Charities Housing Office - Albany - (CCHO): www.cchoalbany.org - CCHO provides a continuum of Housing for the Homeless from emergency shelters, through Single Room Occupancy buildings for single adults to apartments for families. Through its emergency services division CCHO also assists Refugees and victims of Human Trafficking. CCHO runs a Drop in Center in Arbor Hill/West Hill and provides services to the Hispanic/Latino community as part of its wider multicultural services.

St. Peter’s Addiction Recovery Center - Albany - 518-525-1303 stpetershealthcare.org - SPARC provides substance abuse services to people who struggle with chemical addictions and their family. As part of our programming, we operate a homeless shelter on 56 Morton Avenue to help those who are homeless. You do not need to have an addiction problem to be in our homeless shelter. The services we provide include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Outpatient Rehabilitation (Day Rehab), outpatient treatment and a Community Residence.
