PROGRAM SERVICES

Capital EAP recognizes the need to be flexible and strives to involve employers to the fullest extent in implementing a customized EAP program. Each Capital EAP program will reflect subtle differences based on the unique needs of each employer, however, the following benefits are an essential part of each Capital EAP contract:

Services to Employers, Managers and Human Resource Professionals

  • Orientation and training to assist in effective utilization of the EAP
  • Confidential consultations regarding workplace issues such as sexual harassment, discrimination, impaired employees and interpersonal conflicts among co-workers
  • Workplace interventions to assist with interpersonal conflicts, systems or policy changes and other issues effecting the production and wellness of an entire department or office
  • Assistance with transitioning through changes
  • Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) - Consultation, defusing and/or debriefing to minimize the effects of a traumatic event in the workplace
  • 24 hour emergency services
  • Intervention assistance with troubled employees
  • Training in management skills and workplace issues
  • Assistance with policy and procedure development related to EAP
  • Program utilization reporting and evaluation
