We at Capital EAP sometimes think of ourselves as Human Resources' resource.
We provide services, information and events that are particularly beneficial to the
Human Resource professionals of each of our member businesses and organizations.
Services include:
Management Consultation for issues such as harassment, discrimination, workplace violence and A.D.A. is an
important tool for H.R. professionals.
Assistance with Organizational Changes. Major transition or change such as downsizing,
upsizing or corporate mergers is often a difficult, problematic and stressful process.
It is at these times H.R. calls upon EAP for assistance.
Critical Incident Stress Management and CISD services for those directly involved in a traumatic
event such as a robbery, life threatening accident, or sudden death that occurs at the workplace.
This is a service we hope that none of our member businesses will need to use.
If and when an unexpected event occurs, however, Capital EAP is ready with a well trained CISD and
CISM response team. Our team will respond promptly, with compassion and proven techniques which are
essential in stabilizing employees in a time of crisis. These interventions and follow-up services
minimize the long-term, latent effects of the traumatic event.
